Since 1952, PlyVeneer Products has continuously provided innovative, creative solutions for its customers. In its early years, PlyVeneer began by laminating white and brown Kraft linerboard to a wood veneer core that would be used in agricultural packaging, protective sheets/slip sheets, cheese liners, and banding protection.
Due to the ever changing marketplace in 2000, PlyVeneer added to its capabilities by developing PlyCorr and PlyFoam. PlyCorr, a product designed specifically for the retail and store fixture industry, is designed with density and directional fiber in the core material giving the panels more rigidity, crush strength and structural integrity than kraft paper honeycomb.
PlyFoamis known in the recreational vehicle industry for its many applications in sidewalls, roof panels and interior components. As fuel costs continue to rise, these products are instrumental in cost savings to the end user of these coaches.
In 2003, PlyVeneer was challenged to develop PolyPly, PlyMDF and cut-to-size MDF products.
These products allow PlyVeneer customers to specify sizing of product for delivery thus eliminating the waste of product. PolyPly, a flexible luan replacement, is used primarily in the recreational vehicle industry and utility trailer industry.
2005 brought the Drum Separator Sheets to the rail and container shipping industry. PlyVeneer introduced Drum Separator Sheets to be used as a cost effective alternative to plywood between drums in the shipping process to eliminate the drum-to-drum contact.
